«Έναν άνθρωπο να συναντήσω και να μου χαμογελάσει από καρδιάς, να μου πει “είμαι καλά – όχι: υπέροχα! ” »

Κι εγώ να το παίξω κορώνα-γράμματα αν θα χαρώ μαζί του.

Word of the day: creepy. Cause you can use it in so many contexts.

What caught my eye today: the blue bicycle outside my building: I couldn’t tell if the wind had blown it over again, or if it had never been picked up in the first place.

Μην κρυφακούς όταν μιλάω στον εαυτό μου

Today I wore my hair in a side braid (a good one!). Logical consequence: it was raining all day.

After a whole day of hiding under umbrellas and avoiding every single drop however, now, on the way home, I thought ‘what the hell’ and let it all go. Well, I got soaked and it felt wonderful!

It’s been a while since I last did this, maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much. Maybe I did because the act of dropping the umbrella was plain impulsive or because I had just come out of warm houses and smokey pubs. Doesn’t really matter anyway. What matters is that alowing myself to get wet  really made me feel good, and also made me realize that I haven’t done anything crazy/weird/unsual/me-like in quite a long time. Now that I noticed, I have to say that I kinda miss it. And I miss my friends, with whom such crazy/weird/unusual/us-like stuff comes just naturally.

When I came here (October, god I’m here 4 months already!) I wanted to take up the habit of carrying my camera around with me, WHEREVER I went. To capture moments and scenes and moods. Especially lately I really wish I’d actually do it, since there have been many amazing moments I wanted to take in but couldn’t, cause I had left the cam at home. DAMN! But well, one pays for ones bad decisions…

Before I go to sleep now (it’s been an exhausting week and circumstances just wouldn’t let me rest these last 2  days) I want to leave you with a statement, A pretty simple one, actually.

I’m happy. Things may not go the way I expect them to, and I may seem unable to learn from my mistakes/previous experiences and I may miss summer and the people at home, but all in all it seems like a true thing to say: I’m happy.

What caught my eye today: The grey cat, which apparently lives in that houseware-equipment store on the way to Amadeus Pub. It ALWAYS sits in the EXACT SAME SPOT! Jeez, it has a whole store all to itself, and yet I’ve never seen it anywhere but in that spot. Someday I will walk straight in there and ask the owner if I can pet it.
